Programmer Analyst III - Hybrid/Onsite Position

GEMCORE, a privately-owned, growing family of companies headquartered in Hudson, is seeking a highly motivated Programmer – Analyst III to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Application Development, the Programmer’s primary role is the implementation of corporate software solutions that meet company requirements. This implementation process consists of analysis, development, testing, debugging, installing and documenting. This job is a full-time, non-exempt position.

• This is a full-time, exempt, entry level position.

• Hybrid remote/in-office role. The office is located in Hudson, OH.

• Schedule is 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in solving complex problems.

• Work is significant to project’s success.

• May contribute to project planning.

• May provide mentoring to more junior staff.

• Works on several components of a project or a complex component of a project.

• Assigned a lead role on bigger projects.

• Works under broad supervision on priorities and short-term goals.

• Significant involvement in troubleshooting complex support issues.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and C#.

• Hands on experience with D365 and X++ preferred.

• Ability to work independently as well as in teams.

• Ability to follow a formal software development methodology.

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

• Demonstrated desire and ability to improve the code, architecture and development processes.

• Demonstrated strong programming proficiency.

• Ability to accept and adapt to changing development tasks and priorities.

• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a desire to communicate with colleagues and Managers on an ongoing basis.

• The capacity to understand complex business issues and provide innovative solutions.

• Typically requires BS in related technical discipline and 5+ years of related experience.
